Fika is back with two sessions at the Swedish, Malmö located new showcase festival Scanian Sounds. On Thursday the 14/11 at 15.00 CET Anna Aloka and at 16.00 CET Chandrani from KROSSWINDZ will be seated in front of their laptops ready to meet with Scania Sounds participants from southern Sweden! Take a chance to meet both persons and grow your network and perhaps tour or organize tours in Ukraine and India!

Krosswindz is a Bengali (Indian) Contemporary Folk and Fusion band who are celebrated in India for being a pathbreaking band and a Grassroot Grammy Award-winning artist based in Kolkata, India. They have performed their music all over India and overseas. Krosswindz has helped urbanize the folk music of India and has made it popular with its signature world music touch. Krosswindz is one of the few Kolkata-based Contemporary Bengali bands with a female singer on lead vocals. The band was formed in 1990, and started out playing at college festivals.

Anna Aloka

Anna Aloka is a DJ, vocalist, and music manager from Kyiv, Ukraine. She's the one who mixes solid electronic beats with ethnic vibes from around the world. Her style varies from downtempo to indie dance, electronica, and afro house. She began diving into traditional Ukrainian singing techniques in 2023 and aims to bring it to the international electronic scene. Anna played her sets at the legendary Katerblau, Klunkerkranich in Berlin, and performed at Bucht der Traumer & Zugvogel festivals in Germany as well as numerous festivals in Ukraine.
