Agnieszka Frączyk

Agnieszka Frączyk – polish singer, violinist and songwriter, graduated Academy of Music in Katowice, Faculty of Jazz and Popular Music (jazz violin).

She gained stage experience in bands such as Makabunda (1920s-30s polish music), Rise Up! Sound System (instrumental dub), Konopians (reggae, ska), and many others (including jazz, folk, shanties, and house music).

She is the creator, lyricist, and co-composer of the band Kołdra, which plays jazz-infused “Ponglish” songs about corporate (IT) life, also lyrics creator and co-composer in the new band named Szysz (synths-pop).

She also performs in projects such as Dzieciograjki – a folk song ensemble for children from around the world (Pieśniara), Couple Positive – an ethno-electronic duo from Amsterdam; as well as various guest performances and recordings (including with Łukasz Dembiński, 13 Drzew, Muzaman, Scena Pod Regałem).

For her creativity the emotions are the most important element in music.
