PATREON FOR MUSICIANS ON MONDAY THE 30/0 AT 12.00-14.00
Izabelle Norén Neilsen is a Swedish singer songwriter who lives in the forests of Småland in a house by a lake. She successfully funded her previous EP through a crowdfunding campaign using Kickstarter. This together with Musikcentrum Syd and other members of a Crowdfunding group.
This spring she put together a Patreon page for her solo project IZHAV. Izze has a strong hope that over time, services like Patreon and other community-based platforms will be a natural part of an artist's income. With this initiative, she wants to make a mark in the snow so that others can discover this fine tool. Izze herself is in the initial stage where she experiments and tries her way, but thinks long-term and that growth must happen organically.
She is happy to start a Patreon group to encourage and support others to get started this fall if enough people want to.
In this workshop she will talk about the whole process and the "Dos and Don'ts" she has discovered so far along the way. We have a limited number of places, but please register for your sake and so we know how many people show up. It's OK to jump in too, of course.
