Tanya Korenika, a native of Latvia, has made Estonia her professional and academic hub for several years. As the founder and operator of UCE Agency, she has ardently promoted alternative music, with an emphasis on metal. Her expertise extends to event production, tour booking, and artist management, particularly for local alternative musicians.
Tanya's entrepreneurial spirit is further underscored by her co-ownership of Hungr, a 150-capacity queer venue celebrated as a safe space. Hungr predominantly hosts DJ events and assorted performances.
On the academic front, Tanya boasts a master's degree in Culture Management from both the Estonian Business School and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She is currently delving into research, eyeing a potential Ph.D. candidacy in the upcoming year.
